Hi I’m Jonah P S Williams! I’m a merit class master’s graduate in Music and Audiovisual Media from the University of Liverpool. If you’re looking for music for both stage and screen – composing, arranging, directing, performing – get in touch!
I have over a decade of experience as a musician – starting out on electronic keyboards, my work ranges from musical directing with Liverpool University Student Theatre, to composing and arranging music for multiple short films. I have an extensive academic record, and a strong understanding of music theory in a array of genres including jazz, contemporary, and classical. I am a skilled arranger, and can orchestrate and notate music for multiple ensembles, whether it’s a full symphony orchestra, after school contemporary bands, or vocal quartets. My extensive portfolio of audiovisual composition’s showcases my skill of capturing the sound of different artists and styles to reflect on screen action and drama. I’m experienced teaching a range of age groups as both a vocal and keyboard mentor, both in the specialty of musical theatre, and with rock bands. My passion lies in music production, specifically in electronic and orchestral music, and I am comfortable installing and operating audio set ups, both live and in the studio. I have more recently applied my leadership skills in film making and directing,
I am currently continuing work on my original stage musical “Live From the Apocalypse” following on from my masters studies.
